Refund Policy
All rental transactions are final. If you rent a storage unit/space, you are not entitled to a refund for any unused portion of the rental period(s) for which you have paid, including prepaid rent. Customers rent storage unit(s)/space(s) on a monthly basis. The rental period begins on the day the lease is signed and continues on the first of each month. If you wish to not have to pay for another month, please be out of your unit before the close of business on the last day of each month.
All rent is due on the first of each month. If you have not completed a vacate form and/or there is still a lock on your unit as of the first of each month, full rent is due for that month. Rent will not be pro-rated for move-outs.
Security Mini Storage is not liable and/or responsible and is held harmless by customers making credit card payments through the sms website in case of any interruption to the web site for any reason that may cause a customer’s payment to not be credited on a timely manner. Customer(s) are responsible to assure that any payments made via the internet are credited to the customer’s account.
Security Mini Storage is governed by the policies and procedures of each credit card company that is accepted and whose authority ultimately may supersede all conditions established by Security Mini Storage regarding credit card acceptance and refunds. The existence of a question or dispute regarding a credit card or other form of payment does not alter, reduce and/or eliminate a customer’s responsibility to perform their obligation(s) to make timely rental payments regardless of any issue that exists that may or may not require a refund or adjustment of a prior payment(s).
